This two-hour theatrical musical production features the hits of Bette Midler and Barry Manilow. Kathy Thompson portrays Bette, and Joe Passion performs as Barry.
Joe and Kathy are professional performers each with decades of experience, having performed on literally thousands of stages around the world including: Theaters, casinos, festivals, promotions, hotel showrooms, nightclubs, private parties and corporate events.
This show offers Bette and Barry singing duets mirroring their careers which began when Barry was Bette’s musical director in New York City, 1970’s. Audiences take a musical journey through their careers with memorable renditions of their greatest hits and blockbuster movies as you enjoy hits like Copacabana and Wind Beneath My Wings captured with the excitement of live performance.
The likeness Kathy and Joe have achieved as these pop icons is remarkable. Their personal patter and mannerisms are just like the real Midler and Manilow. But it’s the humor of the superstar’s dynamics and comedic timing which Kathy and Joe have captured that really sets this show apart from other tributes.
Solid gold hits leave audiences laughing, reminiscing and feeling good! Midler and Manilow began their careers together, and then each went on to become international superstars in their own right. Bette recently performed her regular show in Vegas at Ceasar’s Palace and Barry headlined for a very long time in Las Vegas as well! They recently reunited as Barry produced, played and sang on Bette’s CDs, “Bette Midler Sings the Rosemary Clooney Songbook” and “A Tribute to Peggy Lee.”

This is a live, costumed musical production performed by two world-class professional tribute artists featuring comedy, adult contemporary duets and solid gold hits from Bette and Barry’s award winning musical catalogues. Our show sound is very full with the use of custom tracks to compliment to the energy of our live musicians to achieve the most authentic recreated sound possible for this tribute concert.
We insist that the audience have a fantastic time and there are interactive spots throughout the show. We can augment the production with two additional background singers and/or a larger band, full stage band … or even a symphonic orchestra!
